Circa 1948
Cesare Pavini was a personal friend, whom Fini met in Rome during the 1940’s. An Art Director and Scenic Designer for the Italian Cinema, he was probably introduced to her by the Director, Luchino Visconti, who frequently surrounded
himself with attractive young men, a few of whom Fini painted along with a well known portrait of Visconti himself. Oil on paper on canvas, 14” x 10”.
